VDOMN will seek to minimise information collected for the verification purpose.
32.3 Aadhar:- Where Aadhaar is used, VDOMN will comply with applicable Aadhaar law and UIDAI requirements applicable to the specific method used. Aadhaar authentication involves submitting specified identity information for verification through the UIDAI ecosystem. UIDAI states that Aadhaar authentication is consent-based. Before Aadhaar authentication or applicable offline verification, the user will be informed of the relevant purpose, information involved, use of information and available alternatives where required. UIDAI's regulations require appropriate consent and purpose-related disclosures for applicable Aadhaar authentication/verification processes.
32.4 No claim of UIDAI authorisation:- Unless expressly stated and factually applicable, VDOMN does not claim to be: UIDAI; an Authentication User Agency; an e-KYC User Agency; an Authentication Service Agency; a Sub-AUA; a Sub-KUA; or another UIDAI-authorised entity. UIDAI explains that entities seeking to become requesting entities for Aadhaar authentication must follow the applicable appointment process. Where VDOMN uses an authorised third-party provider, the service may operate through that provider's authorised arrangement.

32.6. Alternative identification:- Where applicable law or UIDAI requirements require an alternative viable identification method, VDOMN will provide or facilitate an applicable alternative where reasonably available. UIDAI's regulations expressly address alternative means in relevant authentication contexts.
32.7 Aadhaar numbers and identifiers :- DOMN will not use Aadhaar information for purposes unrelated to the stated verification purpose. Where VDOMN is not the authorised requesting entity, Aadhaar authentication should be performed through the applicable authorised provider/arrangement. 32.9 OTP:- Where OTP authentication is used: the OTP is used for the applicable authentication transaction; VDOMN will not ask users to disclose an OTP to a VDOMN employee; users should never share OTPs with another person; OTP-related information will be handled according to applicable security requirements.

The provider may process personal data according to its own privacy policy and applicable contractual/legal requirements.
32.11 Verification result:- Verification may produce results such as: verified; partially verified; unable to verify; failed; pending; or requires additional information. A verification result is not a guarantee of identity, character, competence, employability or future conduct.
32.12 Employer access:- Where a candidate chooses or permits a verification result to be shared with an employer, VDOMN may make the applicable result available. VDOMN should not disclose unnecessary identity information merely because a verification result is being shared.
32.13 Fraud prevention:- Verification information may also be used to: prevent fake accounts; detect impersonation; identify fraudulent documents; prevent recruitment scams; and protect Platform integrity.
32.14 Retention:- Verification data will be retained according to the VDOMN Data Retention Policy and applicable legal requirements. Where Aadhaar authentication logs are subject to specific UIDAI retention requirements, those requirements will apply to the relevant authentication records. Current UIDAI regulations specify particular periods for authentication logs and prohibit retention of PID information.
